Accrington Stanley vs Mansfield Town - Accrington out to continue winning run
Posted Tuesday, September 27, 2016 by PA
Accrington will look to continue their impressive recent form with another victory against Mansfield on Tuesday evening.
Stanley have won their last three Sky Bet League Two matches and will move into the play-off places if results go their way.
Midfielder Scott Brown will be unavailable as he serves a one-game ban after being dismissed for two bookable offences during his side's 2-1 win at Colchester on Saturday.
Shay McCartan has missed his side's last four matches with a dead leg and is unlikely to feature again at the Wham Stadium.
Chris Clements came on as a second-half substitute against Grimsby following a spell on the sidelines with a hamstring injury and the midfielder may force his way back into Mansfield's starting line-up.
Midfielder Jack Thomas (groin) and defender Kyle Howkins (hamstring) have stepped up their recoveries from injury but it is unclear whether either will be available against Stanley.
Defender George Taft will certainly miss out as he contnues to struggle with a hamstring problem.
Along with Clements, the likes of Patrick Hoban, Ashley Hemmings, Jamie McGuire and Darius Henderson will also be hoping for recalls as the Stags look for a first win in five league games.
