Morecambe vs Portsmouth - Rhys Turner could start for Morecambe

Morecambe boss Jim Bentley could restore Rhys Turner to his starting line-up for the visit of Portsmouth.

The striker, having played in the season opener against Grimsby, missed the EFL Cup win at Rotherham with an ankle injury and was an unused substitute for the Shrimps' 2-1 win over Blackpool on Saturday.

Veteran Kevin Ellison, who scored on his return to the New York Stadium last week, is also hoping for a promotion after coming off the bench in the 65th minute versus Blackpool.

Midfielder Aaron Wildig and defender Dean Winnard are doubts with ankle and knee injuries respectively.

Kal Naismith looks set to keep his place in the Portsmouth starting line-up ahead of Enda Stevens as the latter is still recovering from a groin problem.

Pompey are still without Matt Clarke (groin), Ben Close (hamstring) and Brandon Haunstrup (collarbone) as they struggle with injury.

Billy Bingham (ankle) and Perry Ng (hip) remain doubts for the trip to Morecambe.

Jack Whatmough could be a long-term absentee following his knee injury suffered at Crewe.
