Ipswich vs Charlton Athletic - Daryl Murphy an injury doubt for Ipswich
Posted Monday, April 04, 2016 by PA
Daryl Murphy remains an injury doubt for Ipswich ahead of the visit of Charlton.
The striker missed Saturday's goalless draw at Wolves with the calf injury he sustained on international duty with the Republic of Ireland.
Fellow forward David McGoldrick is fit having been sidelined since December with a hamstring problem and was an unused sub at the weekend.
Midfielder Teddy Bishop is also in contention for a place in the squad after long-term hamstring and shin injuries.
Chris Solly could feature for Charlton for the first time since February after recovering from an ankle injury.
Fellow defender Patrick Bauer, who has been out since December with a groin problem, is also close to returning.
Boss Jose Riga must decide whether to bring in his fit-again players or stick with the side which beat Birmingham 2-1 on Saturday.
Striker Reza Ghoochannejhad suffered a hamstring injury on international duty with Iran and looks set to miss out again.
