Wycombe Wanderers vs Exeter City - Chairboys missing Garry Thompson as Exeter come to town

Wycombe will be without midfielder Garry Thompson for their Sky Bet League Two clash with Exeter at Adams Park.

Thompson was shown a straight red card after an hour of Tuesday's 2-1 win at Dagenham and must serve a three-match ban.

Goalkeeper Ryan Allsop will play the third game of his loan spell from Bournemouth as he continues to deputise for the injured Alex Lynch.

Paris Cowan-Hall scored the winner at Dagenham, his first since returning to the club on loan from Millwall, and manager Gareth Ainsworth will hope he can be the goalscorer the Chairboys are desperately craving.

Exeter have been given a fair few boosts ahead of Saturday's match, as Jordan Moore-Taylor (calf), David Noble (hamstring) and Craig Woodman (knock) could all be pushing for an appearance.

Defender Moore-Taylor had been set for a run out against Oxford last weekend but for a postponement, while midfielder Noble will hope for a game after missing three.

Midfielder Ryan Harley (hip) and goalkeeper Christy Pym (finger) have both been long-term absentees, but they are understood to have begun training again.

Manager Paul Tisdale was quoted on the Exeter Express and Echo as saying: "I think the squad at the moment is becoming healthier. We have got, hopefully, one or two returning to the squad for Saturday."
