Ribery back on the training pitch

Bayern München have received a welcome boost with the news that Franck Ribery took part in his full first training session for the club this year.
The 32-year-old winger has spent much of the season on the sidelines, but briefly returned to action in December following a long-term ankle injury.
However, his comeback lasted just two games as Ribery picked up a problem with his thigh in the Champions League clash against Dinamo Zagreb on December 9.
Ribery was back with the rest of Pep Guardiola's squad on Monday, though, when they were put through their paces to prepare for the DFB Pokal quarter-final against Bochum on Wednesday.
Arjen Robben welcomed the return of his fellow attacker, saying on Twitter: "It's brilliant that Franck is back. We need him. It's great to see a smile on his face again."
It's an important month for the Bavarian giants, who also head to Italy next week for the first leg of their UEFA CHampions League last-16 tie against Juventus.
