Paris Saint Germain vs ES Troyes AC - Laurent Blanc: Paris St Germain have won nothing yet

Paris St Germain coach Laurent Blanc does not think his runaway leaders have already done enough to retain their Ligue 1 crown.

The reigning champions are unbeaten this season, winning 12 of their 14 matches, and top the table by 13 points heading into Saturday's home game against bottom team Troyes.

Many see it as a foregone conclusion that the capital club will now go on to lift a fourth successive title but Blanc insists nothing is decided in November and he and his players still have plenty of work to do for the remainder of the campaign.

He told lequipe.fr: "The championship is a very long race, a marathon. You can't be the champion in the autumn.

"To be top of the table at this stage is a good sign but our goal is to be there at the end of the season.

"So far we have had a good half-season, but in Paris that is not enough. If we continue at this pace, it will be difficult for the others to catch up.

"The club's goals are simple: to be champions, try to be effective in the national cups and like you we often repeat, try to reach the last four of the Champions League."

PSG's tally of 38 points at this stage of the season matches the all-time best start to a Ligue 1 campaign, whereas by contrast Saturday's opponents Troyes remain without a league win.

Defender Jonathan Martins Pereira knows his side will be up against it at the Parc des Princes but he hopes Troyes can get a shock result.

"Even if we only have a five per cent chance we will play hard to try to achieve it," he told the club's official website, estac.fr.

"We will go to the Parc des Princes to stand up to Paris St Germain. And why not? Football is made of so many surprises."

Marco Verratti is likely to miss out with an ankle injury for PSG but Ezequiel Lavezzi, David Luiz and Javier Pastore are all nearing returns.

The match will be PSG's first in Paris since the terror attacks on November 13.
