Brechin City vs Cowdenbeath preview - Trio boost Brechin before Cowdenbeath's visit

Brechin have Darren McCormack, Ross Perry and David Weatherston available to face Cowdenbeath.

The trio's return from injury has given player-manager Darren Dods a full squad to pick from for the first time this season.

Dods is hoping to build on his first victory last weekend when his side triumphed 3-2 at Peterhead, and he explained: "We are in a much better place as we have players back and also enjoyed our first win.

"It would be great to add to that, however it will not be easy as Cowdenbeath had a terrific win over a Forfar side that went top of the league."

Cowdenbeath have lost on-loan Rangers player Andy Murdoch to an ankle injury.

He joins Lewis Milne (knee) and Jack Beaumont (foot) in missing out.

Player-manager Colin Nish said: "We played well when we defeated Forfar last weekend and that built on good performances against Airdrie and Peterhead in our previous two games. We will go to Glebe Park and look to keep that progression going.

"A bit like ourselves, Brechin appear to be coming out at the other end of a summer of change and they will have taken a huge lift from winning at Peterhead last weekend so this will be a difficult game."
