FOOTBALL legend Pele is back in hospital just two months after surgery.
SURGERY: Pele has been in and out of hospital in the last few months
The Brazilian star is reported to have undergone back surgery after suffering a trapped nerve.
Pele, 74, has been in and out of hospital in recent months.
He underwent prostrate surgery in May and his global army of fans were relieved to hear that no tumours were found during the procedure.
He was also in hospital for two weeks in December due to a urinary tract infection stemming from a kidney stone operation.
Real name Edson Arantes do Nasicmento, Pele is widely regarded as the greatest footballer of all time.
He has three World Cup victories to his name and scored 77 goals during his 91-match career as an international player.
Recently he weighed in on the FIFA bribery scandal saying he hopes the game can heal itself after the turmoil of the revelations.
"I want to see football put people together, stop the war," he said.
