Newport County vs Morecambe preview - Striker set for Exiles return

Newport will be boosted by the return of striker Chris Zebroski when they host Morecambe.

The former Torquay forward missed the draw with Tranmere and win at Wycombe with illness and then a personal issue but he is back in training and likely to be involved against the Shrimps.

Caretaker boss Jimmy Dack says the Exiles have some bumps and bruises but he could have a full squad to choose from minus long-term injury absentee Andrew Hughes and the suspended Andy Sandell, who serves the second game of his two-match ban.

Cardiff loanee David Tutonda is expected to make his home debut having impressed against the Chairboys last time out.

Jamie Devitt is a major doubt for Morecambe.

The former Hull midfielder has been troubled by hamstring injuries throughout the campaign and came off appearing to clutch the same area again in the first half of last Sunday's defeat to Dagenham.

Both Andy Wright (hernia) and Joe McGee (knee) were involved for the reserves in midweek as they each played 45 minutes on their comeback trails.

Goalkeeper Barry Roche (hip) is stepping up his rehabilitation too after spending time working at England's St George's Park training base in Burton.
