Louis van Gaal did not spare Daley Blind from criticism despite the midfielder securing Manchester United a point against West Ham.
DOUBLE DUTCH: Daley Blind and Louis van Gaal at the final whistle
The Dutchman fired home from the edge of the box to rescue United a 1-1 draw at the Boleyn Ground.
Van Gaal's men had looked on course for defeat after Cheikhou Kouyate's great piece of skill had put the Hammers ahead early in the second half before Blind's late intervention.
But for the heroics of David De Gea, United could have found themselves behind at half-time as they struggled to cope with West Ham's aerial threat from set-pieces.
And Van Gaal admitted Blind's first-half performance should have been better.
"I'm happy for Daley Blind but he also has to play better in first half."
