Newport County 1 : 1 Accrington Stanley - Pigott earns Newport a point

Newport County substitute Joe Pigott's 25-yard strike ensured the points were shared in a 1-1 draw against Accrington at Rodney Parade.
Sean Maguire put Accrington ahead in the 62nd minute and they were heading for victory until Pigott's intervention 10 minutes later.
Newport's first-half pressure almost told after 30 minutes when Aaron O'Connor's header forced a fine save from Finnish goalkeeper Jesse Jorenen.
County debutant Curtis Obeng, on loan from Swansea, was then booked for a heavy challenge on Nicky Hunt before Stanley's Maguire was booked for dissent.
The visitors went in front just after the hour mark when Maguire found space in the box and hit a left-foot shoted which was deflected past Joe Day.
And Stanley thought they had doubled their lead minutes later after Shay McCartan's shot rebounded off the post and ricocheted off Maguire into the net, but the striker was offside.
County hit back through Pigott's curling effort and although they could not find a winner, they extended their unbeaten run to four games.
