Sneijder: I would consider Van Gaal’s offer to join Manchester United

Wesley Sneijder has admitted he would consider a move to Manchester United if Louis van Gaal were to make him an offer.
The 30-year-old has got a longer track record of unfulfilled United rumours than most dating back a few seasons and claimed we wanted to sign him back in January.
Now that Van Gaal is United’s manager, we have been linked to most of the Dutch squad and Sneijder’s name can now be added to that list following his comments that is likely to re-spark some rumours.
“He trains his players very hard and always expects the highest standards,” he said.
“I am happy at Galatasaray. I have established myself at the club and have settled in.
“However, if Van Gaal were make me an offer I would have to at least consider it.
“Nobody from the Netherlands can simply reject Van Gaal.
“In the Netherlands Van Gaal is something like the head teacher of a school.
“Not everyone is lucky enough to get into his good books.”
Four years ago, Sneijder was the perfect player to replace Paul Scholes. Off the back of a treble winning season and a fantastic World Cup campaign, he was in great form but Inter Milan refused to let him go.
As it happened, he has been on the decline since then and although he still has something to offer any side that he would join, he’d hardly be the midfield solution United fans have been craving for.
