ARSENAL star Bacary Sagna wants to stay in England - but it will not be with the Gunners after rejecting their offer of a new contract.

Sagna's current deal expires at the end of the season and has also already turned down offers from Inter Milan and Galatasaray.

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has made it clear he wants to keep the French international defender, 31, at the club - but is unwilling to offer a long-term deal for a player over the age of 30.

And according to reports in France Sagna, who has become increasingly disappointed by Arsenal's failure to provide a suitable new deal, will instead decide over a summer switch to either Chelsea or City.

It's Chelsea or Man City! Bacary Sagna set for Arsenal farewell The Gunners offered Sagna only a two-year extension at the Emirates Stadium worth £75,000-a-week - however the former Auxerre man wants a weekly wage of £100,000 plus a signing-on fee.

A source close to Sagna revealed to Starsport late last month: "He will leave the club 100 per cent - there is no way he will stay.

"He feels very heartbroken, disgusted and disrespected by the board and the offers they are making, after being so loyal to the club for so many years.

"Now his focus will be to help his team-mates and the fans by landing the FA Cup and a top four finish."

If Sagna is to leave it will come as a huge blow for the Arsenal support, who following Sunday's 1-0 victory over West Brom chanted for the right-back to remain at the club.
