HYMNS AND ARIAS: Could the PSV defender help keep David Moyes' defence in tune?

Arias, 22, plays for PSV Eindhoven and would cost £8million.

That would make him a cheaper option than Moyes’ former right back at Everton - Republic ace Seamus Coleman.

Arias joined PSV from Sporting Lisbon in Portugal and United scouts have been monitoring his progress.

He’s caught the eye with his pace and is expected to be in the Colombia squad at this summer’s World Cup.

Arias is also a target for Inter Milan.

Moyes also wants Southampton left back Luke Shaw, who is in the England squad this week to play Denmark at Wembley.

His other targets include Porto centre half Eliaquim Mangala and Borussia Dortmund playmaker Ilkay Gundogan.

David Moyes will be asked to let United keeper Sam Johnstone stay on loan at Doncaster.

Johnstone, 20, has played five times for Rovers since joining on January 31st.
