Pirlo: Now is not the time for contract talks

Andrea Pirlo says he will not be rushed into making a decision regarding his future at Juventus.

The 34-year old Italy international’s contract is set to expire at the end of the season.

Speaking to journalists during a post match interview following Italy’s 1-1 draw with Germany on Friday, Pirlo felt relaxed about where his future lies beyond the current campaign.

“My future? There is throughout the season to talk about it. We’ll see,” Pirlo said.

“I’m optimistic. I want to keep playing, because I'm good and enjoy it. I don’t know if it will be at Juventus or another team."

Pirlo, who joined from Milan back in 2011, has helped Juventus secure two Serie A titles, as well as two Supercoppa Italiana titles.
