SUNDERLAND, England (AP)—Ji Dong-Won scored with seconds left to lead Sunderland over Manchester City 1-0 Sunday and send the Premier League leaders to only their second league loss of the season.

The South Korean forward ran onto Stephane Sessegnon’s pass and rounded goalkeeper Joe Hart to tap into an empty net at the 2:56 mark of three minutes of stoppage time. Replays showed Ji may have been offside.

Substitute Micah Richards’ downward header went off the crossbar for City in the 88th minute.

At the season’s halfway point, Manchester City leads on goal difference over Manchester United (both 14-2-3) after Blackburn won 3-2 Saturday for its first victory at Old Trafford in 49 years.

In Sunday’s other game, Victor Anichebe scored in the 87th minute after a poor clearance, giving Everton a 1-0 win at West Bromwich Albion that put the Toffees in the top half of the standings.
