ON THE UP ... James Milner
JAMES MILNER insists Manchester City will get even better as the season goes on.
Roberto Mancini's men have dropped only two points from their first nine games, scored 33 goals and have just dished out a 6-1 drubbing to Manchester United at Old Trafford.
Midfielder Milner said: "It is about riding the wave. The confidence is there and it's about keeping this momentum, putting in good performances and getting the results.
"We want to keep improving as a team as well — we still have new players in this team and can get better."
And Milner, 25, has warned the result of Sunday's derby might just come up when the players from the red and blue half of Manchester meet up next month for England duty.
He said: "Next time we see each other with England there could be a bit of banter about it."
