John Obi Mikel's dad freed after kidnap

JOHN OBI MIKEL'S dad has been released by kidnappers.

Chelsea star Mikel's 10 days of anguish ended when his father Michael was found alive in the Nigerian city Kano.

Obi senior had last been seen on August 12 in another Nigerian city, Jos, where his car was found five days ago.

He told reporters he had been kidnapped.
