AC Milan striker Filippo Inzaghi has opened the door for Kaka to return to San Siro from Real Madrid.
The 29-year-old Brazilian playmaker has long been linked with a move back to his former club where he enjoyed great success.
Milan coach Massimiliano Allegri recently admitted a move for Kaka was unlikely, while club CEO Adriano Galliani said a return for their former star was impossible despite reports last week claiming dialogue had been opened between the clubs.
However, Inzaghi has said the squad would be delighted if Kaka was the midfielder Allegri is looking for this summer as part of the club's 'Mister X' strategy.
"Ricky is a great friend and I always hear from him. If he comes back everyone will be happy," Inzaghi told Sky Sport Italia.
"The Kaka-Inzaghi partnership gave fans so much success."
The veteran Italian striker scored two goals in just six games last term as a cruciate ligament injury in his left knee ended his season in November.
