ANDRES INIESTA last night told Cesc Fabregas: You will fit in perfectly at Barcelona.
The Gunners skipper is once again at the centre of intense speculation linking him with a move to the Spanish and European champions.
A switch to the Nou Camp would see Fabregasreturn to the club Arsenal signed him from when he was 16.
But the Catalans already have World Cup winning trio Xavi, Iniesta and Sergio Busquets to call on, which has led to suggestions that Fabregas will rarely get a game if he joined Barca because his game is too similar to Xavi and Iniesta’s.
But Iniesta said: “The signing of Cesc is a matter for Arsenal and Barcelona and we (the players) cannot do anything about it.
“But Xavi, Cesc and I are not incompatible.
“If he comes he will improve the quality of the team.”
Iniesta’s statements are the latest move by Barca in their very public attempt to lure Fabregas to the Nou Camp.
The Spaniards have been trying to land the Gunners talisman for two years.
Arsenal though have slapped a £60m price tag on their skipper in the hope it will ward off potential buyers.
Last summer Fabregas went public about his desire to quit the Emirates and join his boyhood club.
But this time Barca have been told that the 24-year- old will stay silent about any summer move.
Barca want to sign Fabregas along with striker Giuseppe Rossi as well as Manchester United and Manchester City target Alexis Sanchez.
But they only want to pay £30m for Fabregas even though they insisted this week that their entire transfer kitty is only £40m in total.
