I have a say

Zaragoza coach Javier Aguirre hopes to avoid complacency following his side's impressive 4-0 win over Valencia last weekend.

Mallorca vs Zaragoza preview - Aguirre: Don`t drop your guard

That victory marked the most impressive result - and performance - of the season for the Aragonese outfit, but Aguirre has warned his players they remain in a relegation fight ahead of the Primera Division clash away to Mallorca.

"Ever since the referee blew the final whistle against Valencia, that has been my main worry," the Mexican coach said.

"I'm on top of the players in that sense because when a situation like this one arises, the team is at its most vulnerable and it's easy to let your guard down," he said.

Nevertheless, the former Atletico Madrid and Osasuna boss believes his players are giving everything to avoid the drop.

"We have to improve our football, but in terms of conduct, effort, professionalism and hard work, I couldn't ask for any more," he said.

Zaragoza have won their last two home games, but have been less impressive away from La Romareda and defender Jiri Jarosik hopes his side can now replicate that form on the road.

"We have to play away like we do at home," the Czech international said.

Zaragoza are currently four points clear of the drop zone, but Mallorca sit in a healthier position - nine clear of the bottom three in ninth place.

Defender Nunes hopes his side can move closer to Primera Division survival with three more points tomorrow.

"Survival is close," he said.

"And a win against Zaragoza would give us three vital points which would be almost enough (to stay up)."

Mallorca duo Victor Casadesus and Tomas Pina miss out through injury, while Nicolas Bertolo is a doubt for Zaragoza.
