Wilshere hits back at criticism of Fabregas

Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere has defended his captain following talkSPORT radio station’s criticism of the leadership of Gunner’s skipper Cesc Fabregas.
Fabregas has come under fire from pundits for his leadership of the team, with opinion divided on whether manager Arsene Wenger should have spent money on some experienced leaders in the January transfer window.
‘Listening to talksport and they questioning cecs captaincy, he is a brilliant leader and protects his team mates always, very passionate guy.” Wilshere tweeted.

Fabregas was announced as the Gunner’s skipper by Wenger in November 2008 replacing divisive influence William Gallas.
