Alloa march on

Alloa strengthened their position at the top of Division Two with a hard-fought 2-0 victory over basement boys Clyde.
Goals in either half from Stuart Noble and Bryan Prunty proved enough for the leaders, although Clyde will consider themselves unfortunate not to have taken anything from the game following a spirited display.
There were chances at either end in a lively opening to the game.
But it was Alloa who went ahead in the 20th minute, Noble applying the finishing touch after being picked out by Prunty`s pass.
Clyde responded well and came agonisingly close to drawing level 11 minutes after the interval as Aleksandrs Gramovics struck the post from 25 yards.
Jordan White saw three opportunities go begging and Alan Lithgow headed wide from a corner as the hosts searched in vain for an equaliser.
But their hopes were extinguished in the 85th minute when Prunty latched onto a long ball from Chris Townsley and finished coolly.
