No joy for Alloa

Alloa missed the chance to extend their lead at the top of Division Two after a goalless draw against an Arbroath side battling to stave off relegation.
The league leaders dominated the first half, going close through efforts from Mark Brown, Anthony Stevenson and Gary Carroll.
But Arbroath were equal to the challenge, as an Alan Rattray header from Marc McCulloch's corner threatened the visitors' goal.
In the second half, the home side threatened much more than Alloa, and indeed Arbroath could have gained a priceless three points had they converted one of their chances.
Bryan Scott twice went close just after the restart, but could not beat David Crawford in the Athletic goal, meaning the match ended in a goalless stalemate.
