Moldova 1-0 Kazakhstan: Epureanu Powers Hosts To Victory

A single strike from Dynamo Moscow midfielder Alexandru Epureanu was enough to give Moldova a win over Kazakhstan earlier this evening.
Epureanu struck with just 25 minutes remaining at the Republican Stadium in what was a well contested match with neither team allowing the other many bites a goal.
Kazakhstan attempted to make a late rally but any chance they may have had disappeared when Aktobe midfielder Yuri Logvinenko received a red card with 15 minutes remaining.
