City go fourth after draw

Gareth Barry grabbed a late equaliser as Manchester City laboured to claim a 1-1 draw against rugged Stoke and move fourth in the Barclays Premier League.
Roberto Mancini's men appeared set to take control after the hosts had captain Abdoulaye Faye sent off early in the second half but Glenn Whelan pounced on an Adam Johnson mistake to score.
Barry volleyed in five minutes from time as City finally rallied but the game ended in controversy as Ryan Shawcross had an injury-time header disallowed.
